In the Social Security area, I have presented to mental health agencies on the topics of Social Security Disability, SSI and mental disabilities. I am also a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the premier organization for practitioners in Social Security Law, and recently attended their Miami Beach Conference. I am also an experienced trial attorney. During my more than 25 years of legal practice, I have represented many of my personal injury clients in jury trials, arbitrations and mediations. I am a member of the Ohio Association for Justice (formerly the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers) and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and regularly attend continuing legal education seminars sponsored by both organizations. I have also served as a court-appointed arbitrator in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas on numerous occasions and, for the past three years, I have served as a volunteer mediator for the Geauga County Court of Common Pleas Mediation Day. Most recently, I was a guest speaker at Cuyahoga Community College on the topic of "Mediation."
